Here are highlights from Bobby and Emily’s baby shower! The one thing to take away from all this is that baby Clayteeny (perfect name for the baby, BTW) is already showered with love from friends and family. We can’t wait to meet you next month, buddy! See you on the other side.
In addition to completely dominating the nightclub scene with their powerhouse renditions of hits through the decades, 88mph showed that they put on a show for all ages at the Jackson Food Truck Festival this past Saturday. They played four sets over the course of the afternoon, right through a stunning sunset, and everyone in the audience had a great time singing and dancing along to the band.
We spent this Saturday afternoon celebrating Katy’s bridal shower. Every last detail about this day shows that it was a labor of love – from the games to the decorations to the cake to the favors, it was a wonderful afternoon for everyone involved.
What a fantastic debut performance for my buddies in 88MPH this past weekend at Victory Beer Hall Xfinity Live in Philadelphia, PA! With a fully captivated audience singing along and dancing on the tables, the show was larger than life. The band dominated the stage with a furious three-hour set. Check out some of the photos from the night in the slideshow below or over here.
Over the course of two days, friends and family came out to celebrate Amalia’s first communion, and let me tell you: this family knows how to have a good time! Amalia’s closest friends and family attended the communion itself, and everyone reconvened in the parking lot for some photos together before the reception on the following day. Every last detail of this party was stunning: the food was absolutely decadent, the music got everyone up and dancing, the ice cream bar and cake cured any sweet tooth in the house, and overall, everyone who joined (of all ages at that) had a great afternoon. What a fantastic way for me to spend my weekend.
Emily’s bridal shower was a day to remember – with homemade food (which could have fed a small army), hilarious games, candy, board game theme, cupcakes, and inside jokes abound, it was bound to be a blast. Here are a small handful of my favorite shots from this awesome party.
“When this baby hits 88mph, you’re going to see some serious $#!+!” – Doc Brown.
Doc Brown did not lie! When the band hit their groove almost immediately after taking the stage this past Sunday at Tom n Jerrys in Folsom, PA, we traveled through time. By playing hits from the decades of music past as well as dressing the part (yes, there were costume changes abound!), the band showed just how versatile and well-versed it can be. 88mph makes their official debut within a few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled!
To celebrate the twins’ first birthday, Monique and Christian arranged a Sesame Street-themed birthday party at the Rowan University Recreation Center. This party was a true labor of love as their friends and family lent a helping hand to set up the tables, chairs, decorations, food, games, and party favors. It was an honor to spend the afternoon celebrating the twins’ first birthday, and it’s beautiful to see Monique’s family grow over time.
Catelin and I attended the Evesham Fall Festival this weekend. We split a vendor booth at the share along with The Lion’s Mane Salon and Spa and That’s Sew Rad Designs and we had such a wonderful afternoon together! We met so many wonderful people in town, and we had an incredible turnout despite all the warnings of the Pope visiting Philly and causing absolute chaos and mayhem for all out travel plans.
We are in the last days of summer. The nights are getting cooler and the days are getting shorter. School is back in session and the stores are filled with Halloween and Thanksgiving merchandise. This all means that it’s time for the Mt. Laurel Fall Festival, an immensely popular event where local vendors, businesses, retailers, and performers come out in unity to celebrate the onset of Fall. Susana O’Hagan of the Mt. Laurel Parks and Recreation department even declared she expects “20,000 people” to come out this year!
