Four Months

This little girl is growing before my very eyes! From the day to day life, I see no difference: to me, she looks like the same girl who was born on Halloween. However, this photo series (we are a third of the way through a year already?!) allows me to look back at specific set points and actually see the changes happening. It’s also pretty amazing to see her start to develop her personality and become somewhat self-aware.

Set 1:
Since she was born on October 31st, when do we actually count the official four-month photo date? The 29th? Do we wait a day or two into March to count it? We chose the former.

Set 2:
Noelle’s latest fascination is trying to roll over when we lay her on her back. This part of our shoot proved to be challenging since she saw this opportunity in this chair as a new way to start rolling over – hence her scooting down and trying to roll. I’m lucky we grabbed these few shots here.

Set 3:
The most noticeable change in this set is the change from sitting on a couch to lying on the floor. This emphasizes her length and that she’s not quite a little peanut anymore.
