Here’s a photograph I captured while strolling the Ocean Grove boardwalk in New Jersey on a breezy brisk (late) winter afternoon.

One is the Loneliest Number

There is something about the beach that words cannot quite capture. It’s a feeling. Through the salty air and cool breeze off the water, there’s a restorative value in it that nothing else can quite emit; a calming factor that tells us that everything is going to be okay. It recharges the batteries and invigorates the mind and soul. It was here before me and will be here after me, and in this very moment, I know it’s all going to be okay.
