Here is a story from my personal experiences. Words cannot express the kind of love and adoration I see between my mother and my three-month-old daughter. I always knew my Mom to be one of the kindest, gentlest, and most loving people I’ve ever known, but it’s truly something extraordinary to see this come alive again as she transitions (almost seamlessly) into grand-motherhood.
Here she is with me back in 1986.
Here are some photos of the two together. They are in chronological order, and they are mostly candids from family gatherings and holidays – I enjoy capturing natural moments as they happen. These photographs begin with the day Noelle was born (Halloween!) and they end at my birthday weekend (the weekend of January 9th) at a family gathering. Enjoy!
